WHAT KIND OF MEN DO WE NEED FOR THE FUTURE OF MALAWI?
During the Brotherhood for Change event, one of the members of the art of her shared a powerful perspective on the kind of men Malawi needs for the future.
We need men who are financially stable and empowered—men who can provide for their families while also taking care of themselves and building a better future.
But how do we build such men?
Through education.
Through technical and vocational skills training.
Through opportunities that empower men to create sustainable livelihoods.
Building better men is not about simply telling them to do better. It is about giving them the knowledge, skills and opportunities to become better.
When we empower men, we strengthen families.
When we strengthen families, we strengthen communities.
And when we strengthen communities, we build a stronger Malawi.

REFLECTIONS FROM BROTHERHOOD FOR CHANGE
The launch of Brotherhood for Change reminded us of one important truth: the future of our families and our country depends on the kind of men we choose to become.
We need men who are passionate about developing their families and contributing to the development of Malawi.
We need men who are: Job creators, not just job seekers.
Men who respect and value women.
Men who take responsibility for their families.
Men who work together and support one another.
Men who think beyond today and create lasting impact for future generations.
Brotherhood for Change is a call to action—to build a generation of responsible, purposeful and united men who will leave a positive legacy in their families, communities and nation.
Strong men. Strong families. Strong communities. A stronger Malawi.

BROTHERHOOD FOR CHANGE LAUNCHES IN LILONGWE

Triumphant Youth Organisation has called on men and boys to take greater responsibility in building stronger families, promoting positive masculinity, and contributing to Malawi’s development.

The call was made during the launch of Brotherhood for Change, held at Pabwalo Multipurpose Room in Lilongwe.

Speaking during the launch, Promise Simwaka, Founder of Triumphant Youth Organisation, said the initiative aims to inspire men and boys to become positive role models in their families and communities.

«“We want to see men who lead with responsibility, integrity, love and purpose.”»

The Organisation will continue engaging young men through dialogues and community programmes focused on responsible leadership, unity, positive masculinity and strong family values.

Stella Kampa, Director of Tambalale Youth Club, challenged men to live with integrity, set personal goals and actively contribute to their communities and the development of the nation. She also called for increased civic education to help men understand their role in promoting family values and national development.

Meanwhile, participant Vitumbiko Visangwika Ngwira pledged to promote brotherhood and positive masculinity in his community, emphasizing that love must be demonstrated through action. ❤️

This is more than an event.
This is a movement.

Triumphant Youth Organisation was pleased to attend the GSMA Digital Africa Summit Malawi held in Lilongwe.

The summit provided an important platform for government, regulators, telecom industry leaders and other stakeholders to engage on how Malawi can accelerate its digital transformation and build a more inclusive digital economy.

We were particularly inspired by discussions around digital inclusion, connectivity, investment, policy reform and innovation—issues that are critical to ensuring that young people are not only consumers of digital technology but also active participants in Malawi’s digital future.

The launch of GSMA’s report, Driving Digital Transformation of the Economy in Malawi, also highlighted the enormous opportunities that exist to expand digital adoption and unlock economic opportunities through technology.

At Triumphant Youth Organisation, we believe that empowering young people with digital skills, access and opportunities is essential for building a prosperous and digitally connected Malawi.

We look forward to contributing to conversations and initiatives that place youth at the centre of Malawi’s digital transformation. 🇲🇼💻🌍
