As YSD continues to engage communities across northern region, participants explored how YSD Mudzi Wophelera ku Nyengo Hubs can be effectively organised and managed, with clear roles, responsibilities and decision-making processes that ensure women, young people and other community members have meaningful opportunities to participate and contribute.
The session also highlighted the importance of transparent leadership, collective planning, accountability and community ownership in ensuring that the hubs remain active spaces for learning, coordination and locally driven climate action.
Through the Mudzi Wophelera Ku Nyengo Hub model, communities are not waiting for solutions to come from outside. They are building their own structures, strengthening local leadership and taking collective action to address the challenges affecting their livelihoods and environment.
