Update: Chisankho Watch Press Briefing Postponed to 25th September 2025.

Dear Stakeholders
Chisankho Watch regrets to inform you that the press briefing initially scheduled for today, 24th September 2025, has been postponed once again.
This change follows the Malawi Electoral Commission’s (MEC) further postponement of the announcement of final official results. As our press briefing is a verification briefing, it is contingent upon MEC’s release of these results. We are therefore unable to proceed until the official outcome is made public.
We have tentatively rescheduled the press briefing to tomorrow, 25th September 2025 at the Mulanje Room, Capital Hotel, Lilongwe, pending MEC’s confirmation.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience and understanding. Please be assured that Chisankho Watch remains committed to delivering a timely, credible, and independent validation of the electoral process. We will continue to keep you updated as developments unfold.
Thank you for your continued support and engagement in strengthening democratic processes in Malawi.
Warm regards,
Chisankho Watch
