Facilitators of Community Transformation Facilitators of Community Transformation (FACT) is an NGO Lilongwe working on Health, Education, Women and Girls, Agriculture and Development research.

Vision;
FACT envisions a developed, just society, free of poverty and human suffering. Mission Statement;
Facilitators of Community Transformation (FACT) exists to promote sustainable national development in all sectors of the public in Malawi, by ensuring that people are accorded the right to equitable economic, health and education opportunities through research, social mobilization, capacity building, networking and advocacy.

DEATH ANNOUNCEMENT

Death robbed us one of our own. We are sad to announce the passing of Madam Laizer Mwale who was until her untimely death on the 26th of December, the Office Manager of Facilitators of Community Transformation. She succumbed after a short illness.

Ms. laizer Mwale had been a long standing member of the organisation, she joined FACT in 2018 as a program officer and later rose to the position of Office Manager, overseeing our day to day organisation and office management.

Her immense contribution in the organisations work is evidenced by the existent systems and policies, growth in donor confidence and program operations.

The late Mwale was instrumental in the organisations acquisition of the Global Fund NFM4 grant, The BMSF MLCCP grant, UNTF cycle 23 grant. Being a key player in the organisation, she was varsatile and affable in staff and employee management, talent growth and perfomance management.

The Board, Staff and Management of FACT will forever be Indebted and grateful to her commitment and deciation to her work with the highest level of proffessional conduct. FACT will miss her indespensable presense and contribution within the organisation.

May the soul of Ms. Laizer Mwale rest in eternity.

Through the Building Systems and Linkages for a comprehensive multinational Lung Cancer control program (BSL MLCCP) being implemented by FACT Malawi, we are carrying out community awareness on Lung Cancer in Lilongwe. Lung cancer community awareness initiatives aim to promote early detection and screening, reduce the disease's stigma, and educate the public on risk factors and prevention methods. November is internationally recognized as Lung Cancer Awareness Month (LCAM). And we are happy to engage our community partners on Lung Cancer in Malawi.
