At Environmental Industries, work in progress, packaging Bionitrate fertilizer for deliveries to WASTE Advisers.

Waste Advisers, in partnership with the Center for Environmental Policy and Advocacy (CEPA) and Malawi University of Business and Applied Sciences- MUBAS, is implementing the Promoting Organic Systems of Soil Improvement to Build a Lasting Economy (POSSIBLE) project, funded by the European Union in Malawi. The project directly benefits 1,000 Smallholder farmers in 8 extension planning areas (EPAs) in Blantyre and Lilongwe districts. Of these, 48 farmers and the Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources are implementing trials, growing crops by combining compost manure for basal dressing and Bionitrate fertilizer for top dressing.

Earlier today, we took part at the inaugural Innovation and Entrepreneurship Fair which focused on bridging the gap between innovation and industry, connecting students, entrepreneurs and big businesses to showcase cutting-edge ideas, share expertise, and shape the future of entrepreneurship.

The event, which took place under the theme "Leveraging Innovation and Entrepreneurship for Economic Transformation", was organized by the Malawi Confederation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry (MCCCI) and the National Council for Science and Technology (NCST), as spearheaded by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), GIZ and the Norwegian Embassy.
