Centre for Human Needs (CHN) hosted Elderly Christmas Lunch on 26 December 2025 at Green Malata Hall, Bangwe, under the theme “Sharing Love, Spreading Joy, and Caring for Our Elders.”

The event brought together seniors from Butawo, Mbalame, and Naluso villages in Traditional Authority Machinjiri, Blantyre, for a joyful celebration.

We were honoured to be joined by Assistant Superintendent Gerald Kandaya, Community Policing Coordinator, Sub-Inspector Tambirai Mungayele, Child Protection Officer from Bangwe Police Station; and Mr. Kelvin Phiri, Area Development Committee (ADC) Chair, representing the Blantyre City Mayor.

What are your plans for this Christmas?
Who will you be spending the festive season with?

Do you know you can make your Christmas even more meaningful by sharing it with our elderly? This year, we invite you to join us as we prepare for our Annual Elderly Christmas Lunch, taking place on 26 December 2025 at Green Malata Hall in Bangwe, Blantyre.
It will be a joyful and heartfelt celebration dedicated to honoring our senior citizens with love, laughter, and companionship.
