We are excited to officially announce that Light For The Youth and Elderly Organization has been rebranded to Kuwala Foundation.

This change marks more than just a new name—it represents a renewed vision, a broader outlook, and a stronger commitment to creating lasting impact in our communities. Over the years, we have learned, grown, faced challenges, celebrated successes, and gained valuable experience. As we move forward, we felt the need for a name that better reflects our mission of bringing hope, opportunity, empowerment, and positive transformation to all people we serve.

Why Kuwala Foundation?

✨ Kuwala means "light"—a symbol of hope, guidance, growth, and a brighter future.

✨ The new identity allows us to expand our reach and strengthen our efforts in youth empowerment, community development, education, leadership, environmental sustainability, social justice, and support for vulnerable groups.

✨ It reflects our desire to build a stronger, more inclusive, and sustainable organization for generations to come.

While our name has changed, our core values remain the same: service, integrity, empowerment, compassion, and community transformation.
