A NEW CHAPTER OF GIVING: KUWALA FOUNDATION’S FIRST COMMUNITY INITIATIVE 🌟

We are proud and excited to officially launch the first community outreach initiative under the new identity of Kuwala Foundation, in partnership with our friends and colleagues at Giving Back to the Community Initiative.

This initiative takes us to Dowa, where we will visit Great Minds Bright Futures Orphan Day Care 2026 to support vulnerable and orphaned children with essential items and resources.

Great Minds Bright Futures has been working in Dowa to provide vulnerable children with a safe environment, food, education, activities and opportunities to build brighter futures.

💚 HOW YOU CAN SUPPORT

We are calling upon individuals, organisations, businesses, friends and well-wishers to join us in making this outreach meaningful.

You can support through cash donations or by pledging any of the requested items, including:

• Soya pieces
• Bags of maize
• Cooking oil
• Charcoal/firewood
• Textbooks and pens
• Sanitary materials
• Sugar
• Beans
• Soap
• Rice
• Eggs
• Clothes
• Shoes
• Children's playing mats
• Toys

Every contribution matters. Whether you can provide one item, make a financial contribution, or connect us to someone who can help, your support can make a real difference in the lives of these children.

We are excited to officially announce that Light For The Youth and Elderly Organization has been rebranded to Kuwala Foundation.

This change marks more than just a new name—it represents a renewed vision, a broader outlook, and a stronger commitment to creating lasting impact in our communities. Over the years, we have learned, grown, faced challenges, celebrated successes, and gained valuable experience. As we move forward, we felt the need for a name that better reflects our mission of bringing hope, opportunity, empowerment, and positive transformation to all people we serve.

Why Kuwala Foundation?

✨ Kuwala means "light"—a symbol of hope, guidance, growth, and a brighter future.

✨ The new identity allows us to expand our reach and strengthen our efforts in youth empowerment, community development, education, leadership, environmental sustainability, social justice, and support for vulnerable groups.
