"قيل لأمير المؤمنين علي بن أبي طالب رضي الله عنه: مساكين أهل الدنيا خرجوا منها ولم يذوقوا ألذ ما فيها، قال: و ما ألذ ما فيها؟ قال: معرفة الله تعالى"

Translation: "It was said to Amir al-Mu'minin Ali ibn Abi Talib (RA): The people of this world are poor, they left it without tasting the most delicious thing in it." He asked, "What is the most delicious thing in it?" The reply was, "Knowing Allah

Surah Ar-Rad/Quruan 13:28
الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَتَطْمَئِنُّ قُلُوبُهُم بِذِكْرِ اللَّهِ أَلَا بِذِكْرِ اللَّهِ تَطْمَئِنُّ الْقُلُوبُ

Those who believe and whose hearts are set at rest by the remembrance of Allah; now surely by Allah's remembrance are the hearts set at rest.

Surah Taha/Quruan 20:124
وَمَنْ أَعْرَضَ عَن ذِكْرِي فَإِنَّ لَهُ مَعِيشَةً ضَنكًا وَنَحْشُرُهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ أَعْمَىٰ

And whoever turns away from My reminder, his shall be a straitened life, and We will raise him on the day of resurrection, blind.

If you live through life without the regular nawaafil prayers...

without witr, without dhuha, without reciting even a portion of the Qur’an daily, without morning and evening adhkār…

without seeking knowledge, voluntary fasting, voluntary sadaqah (charity), or any deeds that earns you the love of Allah...

then don’t be surprised if you lose happiness and peace in this life, and don’t be surprised if you stand empty-handed in the akhirah.

Allah rises people through different doors:

One through the gate of fasting, another through salah, another through charity, another through maintaining family ties, and another through striving in Allah’s cause.

The voluntary acts of worship build your rank in this world, in the loneliness of the grave, and in jannah.
Allah says

Surah Ar-Rad 28:
الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَتَطْمَئِنُّ قُلُوبُهُم بِذِكْرِ اللَّهِ أَلَا بِذِكْرِ اللَّهِ تَطْمَئِنُّ الْقُلُوبُ

Those who believe and whose hearts are set at rest by the remembrance of Allah; now surely by Allah's remembrance are the hearts set at rest.

Hold firmly to these acts. They are your stored treasures for this world and the hereafter.

To become a medical professional, one must study medicine. Similarly, to become a nurse, studying nursing is essential. Engineering and piloting also require dedicated education. Likewise, before discussing Islam, it is crucial to gain a clear understanding of the religion. Islam is not about personal opinions or disagreements but about adhering to the teachings of Allah and Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

Human intelligence has its limits, and we cannot surpass the wisdom of our Creator, Allah. Islam is a divine religion designed by Him and conveyed through Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Therefore, it is either accepted or rejected, but individual thoughts or opinions have no place in Islam, as it is a perfected religion.

It can be frustrating when individuals who have not dedicated years to studying Islam express disagreement with established knowledge. It is essential to show respect for the teachings of Allah and the Prophet (PBUH). If one chooses to disagree, it is better to remain silent rather than risk causing harm or disrespect.

Quruan 12:108
قُلْ هَٰذِهِ سَبِيلِي أَدْعُو إِلَى اللَّهِ عَلَىٰ بَصِيرَةٍ أَنَا وَمَنِ اتَّبَعَنِي وَسُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَمَا أَنَا مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ

Say: This is my way: I call to Allah, I and those who follow me being certain(with knowledge), and glory be to Allah, and I am not one of the polytheists.

Powerful supplication

اللَّهُمَّ لاَ سَهْلَ إِلاَّ مَا جَعَلْتَهُ سَهْلاً، وَأَنْتَ تَجْعَلُ الْحَزْنَ إِذَا شِئْتَ سَهْلاً.

Transliteration:

Allāhumma lā saḥla illā ma ja`altahu saḥla wa anta taj`alu ‘l-ḥazna idhā shi'ta saḥla.

Meaning:

Oh Allah, there is no ease other than what You make easy. If You please You ease sorrow.
