Yesterday day on 12th February youth Innovational Center for change (YICC) participated in a high-level interface meeting with the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) in Lilongwe.

​We joined fellow anti-corruption youth clubs to share our grassroot experiences, challenges, and successes in the fight against corruption within our communities.

Out of 26 youth clubs operating across the Central Region, YICC was honored to be among the 5 outstanding clubs awarded a Certificate of Recognition by the ACB!

​This award isn't just for us—it’s for every young person in our community who chooses integrity over bribery. We are more motivated than ever to continue our mission of transparency and accountability .

The Youth Innovational Center For Change (YICC) to day 9 December,2025 was profoundly honored to participate in commemoration of International Anti-Corruption Day. This significant global observance served as a crucial platform to reinforce our unwavering commitment to integrity and accountability.
This year's international theme, WITH YOUTH AGAINST CORRUPTION: "shaping tomorrow's integrity," resonated deeply with us. It was a powerful call to action, energizing us and our fellow youth who are committed to fighting corruption in our country. We affirmed the indispensable role of young people as catalysts for change, driving the necessary transparency and ethical governance required for sustainable development.

In line with our 2025 local theme, Human Dignity in the Fight Against Corruption, our participation underscored the fundamental premise that the eradication of corruption is essential for upholding the inherent rights and dignity of every member of society. Corruption directly undermines human welfare and social justice.

On behalf of YICC, we would like to extend our sincere gratitude to the event organizers, the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB), and all fellow participants for a truly productive and inspiring event.
Let us continue to collaborate to foster a culture of zero tolerance for corruption.

Youth Innovational Center for change Executive Director "Bridget Chaponda had a surprise visit to day on 13th march ,2025 at some of the schools that YICC is implementing Lean on Me project ,the schools are ,Nguluwe primary school and Kakule primary school this are the schools that are based in chinsapo area ,T.A Malili

The visit was about to monitor the progress as well the effectiveness of the project and to make sure the resources are being utilized in line with the stated goals and objectives.

Yesterday on 12th March ,2025 ,youth Innovational Center For Change was preveleged to be one of the among invited Lilongwe Civil society Organisations by MACRA Malawi ,on Digital Rights workshop.

This workshop was an eye opener and educative to us as one of the youth organization that is working directly with youth that are born in this era of digital world .
The discussion highlighted on the vital Role of CSOs in this digital world. Malawi is one of the country that is fast adopting the digital world and CSOs have big Role to play in making sure that citizens are being civilized so that human rights must not be violated by anyone through digital platform.

Looking forward to work in hand with MACRA so that as we are fast adopting the digital world ,the citizens should know their rights and laws that regulate digital platforms so that we should all feel secured when using internet services and digital platforms .
