On 27th March, 2026, NAFE had its weekly feeding program again with an attendance of 112 elderly people comprising both men and women. On this day, apart from providing a meal, these people were also empowered socially by sensitizing them on their rights as elderly people. Most of them don't believe that they too have rights for the fact of being human beings just like any one else. They were made aware of their human rights so that they can be able to claim them and also they should be able to know when their rights are violeted. The day was well spent and was spiced by dancing and singing.

On 15th February 2026, 30 elderly people (agogo) came for a meal unplanned due to hunger challenges in their homes. It was discovered that some of these grannies have stayed for 3 days without a single meal and some are still eating maize bran (madeya). Among them there are 3 patients needing medical care. One with cancer, one with kidney problem and one is epileptic. These agogos need food every day and any help can make a very big difference.
