AI knowledge is critical to accelerating growth across industries. In partnership with Women in AI, led by YALI alumna Linda Chimwenje, American Center Lilongwe will host a six-part AI & Digital Program for Youth training.

Hygiene for Life Successful 3-Day Training at Chilinde Secondary School

Chambo Scout Troop is proud to celebrate the successful completion of a 3-day Hygiene for Life training at Kamuzu barracks Secondary School.

The training was facilitated by Innocent and Emmanuel, Scouts from Chambo Scout Troop, with support from Freshwater Project International .

During the training, learners gained practical knowledge and skills on:
• Safe Water
• Proper Sanitation
• Good Hygiene Practices

Participants were awarded certificates in recognition of their commitment to promoting healthier habits and creating cleaner, safer school environments.

This initiative demonstrates how Scouting can empower young people to become champions of health, hygiene, and positive community change.

Hygiene for Life – 3-Day Training in Schools

We have officially started our Hygiene for Life training program in schools, promoting healthier communities through practical hygiene education and community action.

The 3-day training is being led by Innocent, helping learners understand the importance of:

Today’s Scouts for Technical Expertise session in Chinsapo showed that digital skills can be taught in any community, including rural areas

Scouts explored basic coding, design, and creativity through simple, guided learning, proving that Scouting adapts to today’s digital world.

We are doing this to equip young people with practical skills, build confidence, and prepare them to be active citizens who can solve real community challenges

It was inspiring to see their energy and curiosity for learning new skills that shape the future

Chambo Scout Troop attended the 2026 Finals of the Standard Bank ATEM Drama Competition at BICC, with powerful stories of strength, identity, and courage. 🎭⚜️
