They say it takes a village... but looking at Nguluwe today, I finally get it. 😭🙌

In just two and a half months, we celebrate five years of a partnership that didn’t just "help"—it transformed a "development desert" into a Capital Hope Oasis. ⛲️💎

From feeding and tutoring to raising the next generation of integral, powerhouse leaders—we aren’t just giving out certificates. We are holding the pen while God rewrites "hopeless" stories into masterpieces. 📖✍️

As a first-gen graduate, I’ve felt the chains of poverty break. I know the rush of reaching back to pull others up. That fire? It’s burning for every child at Good Promise Camp Hope Oasis. 🏟️❤️

In 2021 GPM was just a dream for Nguluwe youth in Malingunde, Lilongwe.

Two months from now we celebrate 5 years. 500+ youth. 50+ villages.

God did it! And you prayed, gave, and showed up. Thank you!

Next up: 1000 youth in 5 years.
I’m launching a $5,000 fundraiser to expand our capacity and open a new camp site.

Good morning, GPM community! How are you doing today?

Welcome to the *GPM Tuesday Devotion* 📖

Read: Psalm 46:1-7
_"God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble."_

At GPM, we know that growth and learning don’t pause life’s challenges. Some of us woke up tired, anxious, or carrying silent burdens. Hear this: You are seen, and you are not alone.

Life in school, work, or at home can feel like earth shaking and waters roaring. But the promise here isn’t that trouble won’t come. It’s that strength and help are present in it. Before your day started, hope was already there.

_“There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God.”_ v4
Storms may not leave right away, but there is still a stream. Peace isn’t the absence of pressure. It’s finding steadiness in the middle of it. If you feel dry today, may you receive one quiet stream of strength. Just enough for today.

_“God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved.”_ v5
You might feel shaky, but you are held. The One who holds galaxies is able to hold you through exams, deadlines, parenting, and uncertainty. Help isn’t late. It comes “at the break of day.”

Let us pray together:
Father, for everyone in our GPM family who feels overwhelmed, be their refuge. For the weary student, the tired teacher, the parent doing their best, be their strength. For anyone who feels alone, be very present. Let Your quiet river make our hearts glad again. We don’t have to be strong enough, because You are here. Amen.

Carry this truth today:
