🌟 Summer Camp 2026 — Day 2 Update!

Dear Friends,

Our 2026 Summer Camp in Nguluwe is already becoming a beautiful testimony of what happens when prayer, generosity, and faith come together.

With 500+ children and youth gathered, Day Two focused on a powerful truth: God’s Word is not just meant to be read—it is meant to be lived! 📖 Our theme came alive through Nehemiah 8:3:
“...the ears of all the people were attentive to the book of the Law.”

The children learned from the example of Ezra, who faithfully taught God’s Word, and from the builders of Jerusalem, who kept their hearts focused on God while doing the work before them.
And today, the excitement continues!
Our campers will be learning how to appreciate the beauty of Christian fellowship through the local church. ❤️⛪

We are also celebrating the girls today as they receive beautiful dresses through Little Dresses for Africa. 👗

And later today... game time! 🏐⚽🔥 to play matches against the village teams!
God is doing more than we imagined.

☀️ Summer Camp: Day 1 Update!

What an incredible beginning to summer camp!

Yesterday, we kicked off with amazing energy, and God is already moving in powerful ways among our campers and volunteers.

🏕️ Camp Highlights

It was a phenomenal opening day, bringing together our community in faith, fun, and celebration:

• Attendance: Over 200+ children showed up ready to learn and play!
• Leadership: A dedicated team of 40 volunteers and staff poured their hearts into serving.
• Daily Activities: Engaging sessions covered Bible lessons, Sports, and Art classes.

🎉 Celebrating Excellence
We wrapped up Day 1 by honoring incredible achievements in education:
• 2 Secondary School Graduates: Moses and Yusuf, whose hard work and dedication set a wonderful example for the younger youth.
• Academic Achievers: 3 students who excelled in their Junior Secondary exams.
• Next Chapter: 7 students selected to start secondary school this coming September!

Summer Camp starts tomorrow. Particularly excited for the first ever Good Promise Secondary School Home Coming Party. Celebrating the pioneer form forms, the continuing successful form Twos and of course, the new form Ones.

Say a prayer for the team. We have hustled to plan and prepare and now it's up to God to make it an impactful and meaningful time for the kids.

I am sharing a humbling and yet an encouraging event l woke up to this morning. A fellow young Christian leader, Miss Dorothy Kamoto has won an award in education and skills development by the National Youth Council.

Congratulations Miss Dorothy Kamoto and the Young and Empowered Malawi team and thank you for your due diligence for the last five years to serve and impact the youth in Lunzu Blantyre.

The game is indeed changing and the youth are on the lead in deeds. Thank you for being an example of that.

WHY DOES THE GOOD PROMISE 2026 SUMMER CAMP MATTER IN NGULUWE!

Dear friend,

For many children in Malawian underserved communities, long school breaks are not just a time for rest, they can bring vulnerability, hunger, and lost momentum. But at Good Promise Ministries, we believe a break from school should never mean a break from growth!

From August 17th to 27th, 2026, we are bringing excitement, hope, and purpose to life with our annual SUMMER CAMP program in Nguluwe, Lilongwe. Over 500 school going young people will be gathered and be served with the Word of God, warm meals, mentorship and much more under the powerful theme: “Building on God’s Promises.”

Through interactive learning brave environments, creative arts, sports, and Bible discovery, we are stopping “summer learning loss” in its tracks. Plus, every child will receive warm, nutritious lunch meals daily, fueling both minds and bodies!

See, we aren’t just occupying time; we are building tomorrow’s leaders. Through dedicated Role Modelling and Mentorship Sessions, spiritual growth sessions, and a special Senior High School Graduates Party, we are celebrating achievements and inspiring the next generation to aim higher.

By creating a fun, safe, and protective space packed with sports, games, and genuine friendship, we keep our youth protected from social pressures while strengthening community bonds.

Transformational impact requires a communal action. You can help us make this camp unforgettable for every child in Nguluwe. Would kindly and prayerfully consider:

Good Promise Ministries is excited to announce our upcoming Summer Camp 2026, taking place from 17–27 August 2026 in Nguluwe, Lilongwe.
