Many people find it difficult to understand the concept of the Trinity. The Bible says in 1 John 5:7 that the Father, the Word – Jesus according to John 1:14 – and the Holy Ghost are one. They are one, yet they are three distinct entities. I’ll explain it this way: I am one man called Adeboye, but I can express myself differently in different situations. For example, if my wife breaks a ceramic plate, I will be gentle Adeboye; I will speak gently to her and ensure that she is fine. However, if it is my son, I could be furious Adeboye because I might be angry with him for being careless. I am the same person, but l’ll show different sides of myself depending on what is needed in different situations.

God is one. However, He chooses to express Himself in three different forms. Water can be in liquid, gas (steam), or solid form (ice) based on changes in its temperature. In the same vein, God is one God, and He chooses to express Himself as the Holy Spirit when needed, the Word when needed, and the Father when needed. One expression is not less God than the other, just as ice or steam is not less water than its liquid form.

God the Father is the side of God that is fatherly. However, just like Adeboye the father, which I described in the first paragraph, He can be strict in this form. During the dispensation of the Father in the Old Testament, people got immediate judgment for their sins. God the Son, who is Jesus Christ, came in the flesh, so as Hebrews 4:15 says, He has feelings just like us, and He is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8). He is the most relatable to us as He has gone through the temptations we are currently going through, and He advocates for us with the Father (1 John 2:1). God the Spirit is the creative side of God. He is the One who lives in you to do the things that were otherwise impossible to you (Romans 8:11, Philippians 4:13, 1 Corinthians 3:16, 1 John 2:27, John 14:26).

Beloved, knowing the Trinity will empower you to live above limitations. Also, to enjoy God’s fullness, you need to know Him as the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. I pray that you will experience the fullness of the Godhead in your life, in Jesus’ name.

Murmuring sustains struggling; it brings destruction (1Corinthians 10:10). As a Christian, do you complain or murmur when faced with difficulties? Do you see every challenge as an opportunity to trust God more, believe the more, pray the more and move closer to Him the more?

Nothing happens by chance—everything is working together for a purpose. No matter what you face, if you are a child of God, that situation is allowed by divine will for your growth, refinement, or breakthrough.

Many people complain and blame others for their misfortunes:

"I am poor because my family is poor."
"I am sick because my grandfather had diabetes."
"I am jobless because my friends misled me."
"I am illiterate or uneducated because no one helped me."

️This victim mentality keeps people from seeing God's divine hand in their situation.

Many people want breakthroughs without endurance; success without trials; and blessings without pain. However, God often allows pain and disappointment to prepare us for a new level in life.

• Hannah (1 Samuel 1-2)
Hannah was barren for years and faced mockery from her rival, Peninnah.
Instead of murmuring, she poured out her heart to God in prayer.
If Hannah had taken a shortcut or lost faith, she might have had a child—but not the great prophet Samuel!

• Joseph (Genesis 37-50)
Joseph had a dream that he would be in charge.
But before the dream came true, he was sold into slavery, falsely accused, and imprisoned.
If Joseph had lost faith, he would have missed his divine appointment (Genesis 50:20).

THINGS TO REMEMBER
1. Delayed miracles are often "mother of miracles." When your breakthrough is delayed, God is preparing something greater than you asked for!

2. Your trials are pushing you toward your divine destiny. The greater the trial, the greater the testimony.

3. No trial is meaningless—everything happens for a divine purpose.

4. God’s delays are not denials—He is preparing something greater.

5. Your breakthrough is closer than you think—trust God completely.

6. Pray more, worry less—turn every burden into a prayer request.

7. When trials get tougher, victory is near—don’t give up!

TOPIC: MURMURING

1 Corinthians 10:10: Neither murmur ye, as some of them also murmured, and were destroyed..."

MURMURING means uttering complaints in a low voice or sullen manner; Grumbling; Complaining. It is an expression of discontent; it is a sign of ingratitude and disloyalty.
Murmuring sustains struggling; it brings destruction (1Corinthians 10:10).

WHAT TO KNOW ABOUT MURMURING
1. God hears Murmurings:
-Exodus 16:7-12; Numbers 14:26-27.

2. Murmuring provokes God:
-Numbers 11:1-3; Numbers 14:11; Numbers 14:26-29; Numbers 21:5-6

3. God forbids Murmuring:
-John 6:43; 1 Corinthians 10:10; Philippians 2:14.

4. God reacts to Murmurings:
-Exodus 16:1-5; Numbers 11:1-2, Numbers 14:26-29; Numbers 21:5-6; Deuteronomy 1:34-36.

5. Murmurers are not bold: -Deuteronomy 1:27; Psalm 106: 25.

God hates Murmuring. It provokes Him and He forbids it. We must avoid what provokes God as much as possible.

INSTEAD OF MURMURING; GIVE THANKS TO GOD
Beloved, you should appreciate God for where you are today, and He will be committed to taking you to where you are meant to be.

Appreciation brings multiplication (Jeremiah 30:19). You may not be where you want to be yet, but it is possible you are not where you used to be. So, give thanks to God. The fact that there is breath in your nostril is enough reason to give thanks. Remember, To him that is joined to all the living there is hope (Ecclesiastes 9:4). That is, so long as there is life, there is hope.

Nobody in the graveyard is talking about getting married.
Be grateful. When your salary comes, and you say, “What is this? This little money again?”, you have killed it already; you killed its potential.

It is very important that parents speak the right words into their children’s lives. Speaking the right words plays a huge role in laying a solid foundation for children, unfortunately, some parents are careless with their words, they are not diligent in processing what is in their hearts before they speak; therefore, what comes out of their mouths towards their children is not wholesome.

Parents should bless their children, not curse them or make negative pronouncements on them. When Rachel gave birth to her second son, she pronounced a curse on him because of the pain she went through in childbearing. If Jacob had not changed that name to Benjamin, that child would probably have lived a sorrowful life (Genesis 35:18).

Many people live in sorrow because of the evil pronouncements their parents made over them. Parents should not do that to their children; instead, they should use their mouths to bless them every day. They should also learn to keep some things that God reveals to them about their children to themselves so that they don’t expose them to human and demonic attacks. Mary kept the things she had received concerning Jesus in her heart (Luke 2:19). It isn’t everything God shows parents about their children that they should share. Some things are for an appointed time; they should wait for that time.

Parents should also not share everything about what is going on in their children’s lives on social media. Social media is a marketplace with different kinds of people. If Mary or Joseph had been careless about the whereabouts of Jesus when God told them to leave for Egypt, Herod could have found a means to kill him in Egypt. Parents should be wise about sharing their children’s information online.

Some children have gotten into the wrong hands because their parents were careless. Deuteronomy 6:6-9 says that parents must teach their children God’s ways. They must tell them about His laws in the morning, noon, and night, and use every opportunity to drill God’s word into their minds. If you’re a parent, use your mouth to raise your children, not tear them down. My mother would always bless me by saying that when I call one person, hundreds will come running, and today, those blessings have truly manifested in my life.

Let your words be seasoned with grace always (Colossians 4:6). Let your lips be a wellspring of life to your children. Let them always know they will meet words of life, not death, on your lips.

"Don’t function by anxiety; live by the revelation of God’s Word. Respond to life’s circumstances in faith and with faith. Always be calm, assured and unshaken. Not because there are no challenges but because you know you’re not alone, and you’re not without help and supply."

"Beloved, you cannot be wiser than God. If God Himself rested after creation, then you must also create time to rest from time to time. Do not finish one demanding task after another without taking time to rest. Many people have overworked themselves to the point of exhaustion, but this is not God's plan for anyone. He wants you to know when and how to take rests so you don't burn yourself out."
