🇲🇼 On this Independence Day, we celebrate Malawi's journey while reaffirming our commitment to investing in the nation's greatest resource its children.

A truly independent and prosperous nation is one where every child is protected, has access to quality education, good health, and equal opportunities to succeed. Together, let us continue creating an environment where every child can grow, learn, and contribute to Malawi's future.

Two years ago we started supporting Rachel Saka who was about to drop out of school because of school fees. Her mother was struggling to support both Rachel and her sibling, and could only afford to pay for one child to remain in school then.

We saw a girl who showed love for school and Together We Rise Foundation supported her education by paying her school fees. Because her school uniform was worn out, we also provided her with a new one. Later, when she was preparing to sit for her Junior Certificate Examinations (JCE), we supported her with whatever she needed and she passed the examinations.

Two years later (yesterday 19/06/26), she was among the very few students who received special awards from her school. Watching her complete secondary school has been a beautiful journey. We are glad that we were able to give her a chance at education, and even more grateful that she embraced that opportunity with determination and excellence.

Thank you Rachel for not letting your background stop you from dreaming boldly, working hard, and showing what is possible when opportunity meets determination.
