On Monday the 30th of March, in the morning Ralf Feldhaus, visited the Scouts Association of Malawi to give a courtesy call to the National Executive Commissioner, Mr Howard Maujo. With 40 years of experience in scouting, Ralf comes to support scouting in Malawi. He will take part in Mental Health Awareness in Salima and Second Phase Woodbage Training organised by Scout Association of Malawi and Catholic Scout Association of Malawi. Later in the day Ralf Feldhaus, visited the Auxiliary Bishop Vincent Mwakhwawa to give a courtesy call.
Bishop welcomed Ralf to Malawi and he thanked the Scouts for the good work they are doing in the Church.
On his part Ralf, explained how vital the Catholic scouts is in the Church for it integrats faith and scouting adventures, fostering spiritual growth, and engaging in service projects. Scout serves as a youth ministry that strengthens young people's relationship with Jesus, promotes Catholic leadership, and supports parish life through acts of service and community outreach. He further said that he will take part in training junior scouts, rovers and adults scouts in the Dioceses of Lilongwe, Mzuzu and Karonga in the next six weeks that he will be in the country.
