Expanding Opportunities through education, health, social welfare & spiritual support since 2011. GOFRIL Foundation is an inclusive, grassroots-rooted, and professionally structured non-profit organization based in Dowa District, Malawi. Originally established in 2011 as GOFRIL Ministries, our organization has grown from a faith-based humanitarian outreach into a dynamic development-focused NGO. In 2025, we restructured and rebranded as GOFRIL Foundation to expand our reach and adopt a stronger governance model. Our mission is to empower individuals and communities socially and economically through inclusive, community-driven programs that promote dignity, equity, and sustainable development. We currently implement programs in:
• Youth Empowerment & Livelihoods
• Women’s Economic Development
• Education & Literacy (including multilingual and refugee-focused initiatives)
• Health & Psychosocial Support
• Community Engagement & Social Development
GOFRIL Foundation works with both refugee and host communities to deliver locally led, context-specific solutions. Our 2025–2027 strategic vision focuses on sustainable growth, evidence-based programming, and deepening partnerships aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This page is your go-to source for updates on our events, programs, and impact stories. We also share messages of faith and hope, reflecting our foundational values. We value your input—whether through advice, collaboration, or support. Together, we can build spiritually, socially, and economically transformed communities. Be part of the change.
