Today’s event at Dzaleka Refugee Camp Secondary School was truly exciting and inspiring. We had the opportunity to present the Master of Business in the Street (MBS) and Counseling in the Street (CIS) programs, and it was amazing to see how interested and eager the youth were to join.

Yannick Kalumbwa, the Co-founder, conducted a training session for the Techwork Team on lead generation.

During this training, the team learned how to identify and attract potential clients who may be interested in their services. They gained practical skills in finding target audiences, communicating value clearly, and using both online and offline strategies such as social media, referrals, and direct outreach to generate interest.

As a result, the Techwork Team is now better equipped to:

* Reach the right people who need their services
* Build strong connections with potential clients
* Increase opportunities for work and income
* Present their ideas and services in a more professional way

This training has strengthened their ability to grow opportunities within Dzaleka Refugee Camp and beyond, making them more confident and effective in creating sustainable tech-related work.

WOLEO Organization continues to innovate through TechWork activities.

We are excited to share that WOLEO has successfully searched for and secured another online job opportunity for a Social Media Boost Team. This initiative is designed to empower youth in Dzaleka Refugee Camp and host communities by providing them with digital work opportunities.

As part of this program, we conducted a general training with the Social Media Boost Team to guide them on how they will be working, their roles, and how to deliver quality results online.

Through this initiative, participants will gain practical experience, earn income, and use their digital skills to help address challenges within their communities.

At WOLEO, we believe technology can be a powerful tool to solve real-life problems and create sustainable change.

WOLEO Organization continues to create opportunities for youth in Dzaleka Refugee Camp.

Following the job opportunities secured for young people, we conducted another training focused on how to fill out application forms neatly and correctly. This session aimed to prepare participants to present themselves professionally and increase their chances of success.

Through this training, the youth gained practical skills in attention to detail, accuracy, and confidence when applying for opportunities.

At WOLEO, we are committed to not only finding opportunities but also preparing our community to succeed in them.

WOLEO Organization, in partnership with Interweave Solutions, continues to make meaningful progress in empowering our communities.

As part of our ongoing trainings, we have grouped participants into smaller teams to encourage deeper discussions and practical learning. The focus has been on Money Management and how to overcome depression, helping individuals build both financial stability and emotional strength.

These group sessions are creating safe spaces where participants can share experiences, learn from each other, and grow together.

We are proud to share that the work of WOLEO Organization is progressing well.

Through our Master of Business in the Street (MBS) and Counseling in the Street (CBS) programs, we continue to train and empower people in refugee camps and host communities. These trainings are transforming lives by providing practical business skills and essential counseling knowledge.

Our sessions are reaching different institutions such as churches, schools, and community organizations. We are grateful to have successfully completed trainings at CEPEA and PMC churches, and the impact continues to grow.

Step by step, we are making progress and creating real change in people’s lives.

After their visit to WOLEO Organization, our guests from Christian Service International, Church of God, and Mennonite were deeply touched by the situation of the children. We are grateful that they decided to support by paying school fees for orphans

This act of kindness has brought hope and new opportunities to many children in our community.
