Discover Yourself Organization, DYO Our purpose is to ensure that young people discover their talents, get education in their talents and live their skills by serving them to the world.

This page was created to publish our services We had not been providing our services according to the time and days appointed. At the initial stages of the pandemic, we closed our center and then resumed after the government authorized the opening of all schools. This affected the students' performance in their classes.

It’s our privilege to thank the Ottawa School of Art, OSA, (Ottawa, Canada) for their invaluable kindness of accepting us and exhibiting our students’ artworks in their art gallery. Who could have imagined, based on our status as refugees, to have our artworks exhibited in one of the greatest nations on earth, Canada! Also, being in different and far geographical locations (Between Malawi & Canada), it was inconceivable but our desirable goal! The installation of our artworks in the gallery looks so beautiful and inspiring because Andrew Fay and Cathy voluntarily did skillful work! We are grateful for them.

Tumaini Festival is one of the biggest and most important celebrations that happens annually in Dzaleka Refugee Camp, Malawi.  It gathers thousands of people from diverse countries, cultures, and beliefs without discrimination. Multitude of people share their deepest, hidden-love of their culture and beliefs through visual arts, entertainments, dances, music, and all from different countries and cultures.

Basukisa ROSAINT is one of the DYO handicap students. This is his first achievement after his 3 weeks training. Rosaint is handicap with only two fingers on his right hand. Despite his inability, he is not limited to display his talent. He has drawn his beloved teacher, Bile Junior, using matches sticks.
