Meet Romeo Kiza, a young man currently living in Dzaleka Refugee Camp, who grew up in a very difficult situation after his parents divorced when he was still very young. Life was not easy. There were moments of pain, rejection, challenges, and uncertainty. But despite every obstacle, Romeo refused to give up on life and on his dreams.
Today, he is the proud owner of Romeo Fitness Center, a symbol that your background does not define your future.

This is not just a story. It is a message of hope. A message to every orphan, every vulnerable child, every youth fighting silently, and every parent raising children in difficult conditions.
No matter where you come from, no matter what you have passed through. Your story can still change.

EMO-LIAM PROGRAM

The African Youth Conference held on 24th January 2026 was a truly touching, motivating, and deeply inspiring gathering. The atmosphere was alive with hope and purpose as young people expressed themselves through powerful performances, soul-lifting songs, meaningful poems, and energetic dances that reflected the voice and dreams of African youth.

The highlight of the conference was the impactful message titled “My Success, My Contribution” delivered by Pastor Mike Chilemba. His words challenged and encouraged every young person to understand that success is not only about personal achievement, but about the positive contribution we make to our families, communities, and the continent at large.
Many participants left the conference renewed in mindset, strengthened in vision, and inspired to rise with responsibility, purpose, and determination.

My visit to Othakarhaka Foundation was truly inspiring and deeply impactful. The dedication, professionalism, and genuine compassion shown by the team clearly reflect the Foundation’s strong commitment to community development and positive change.

I was impressed by the meaningful programs in place, the welcoming environment, and the clear passion and kindness for empowering lives. Othakarhaka Foundation is doing exceptional work, and their efforts are making a real difference where it matters most.

Tunayo heshima kubwa kukualika kushiriki kwenye Mkutano wa Wazazi unaoandaliwa na EMO (Empowering Minds of Orphans) tukio la kipekee lenye lengo la kujenga familia imara na kuandaa mustakabali bora kwa watoto wetu.

Chini ya thème: “Mtoto Wangu, Mafanikio na Maendeleo,” mkutano huu unalenga kugusa mioyo ya wazazi na wanandoa wachumba, ili kutambua wajibu wao mkubwa katika kulea watoto kwa upendo, mwongozo, na maono. Pamoja tutajifunza, tutashirikiana, na kuhamasishwa kujenga nyumba ambazo kila mtoto anaweza kukua kwa mafanikio, utu, na matumaini.
