Today is World Day Against Human Trafficking.
At Hope Risen Foundation Malawi, we stand in solidarity with survivors and frontline defenders across the globe, working tirelessly to combat this grave injustice.
We’re excited to mark this important day with a series of impactful activities:
This morning, our team is on the ground conducting awareness campaigns and prevention education in our local communities—empowering people with the knowledge to recognize and resist trafficking.
This afternoon, our Team Leader, Patience Phiri, has been invited to speak at a powerful webinar hosted by the Africa Survivor Coalition, themed:
"Unity as Protection against Organized Crime: Survivor-Led Action Against Human Trafficking."
We believe that true change begins when survivors are heard, valued, and leading the movement.
Finally, we’ll be releasing an official press statement this evening, reinforcing our call for collective action, accountability, and survivor-centered solutions across Africa.
Today is a reminder that every voice, every action, and every survivor matters. Join us in saying NO to human trafficking and YES to unity, justice, and freedom.
