Awa ndi ma youth club omwe Luso Langa ikuwasula kuti akule kuchoka pa youth club kufika youth organisation.

Pair-Wise Ranking ndi njira yothandiza anthu kutengapo mbali yomwe imaonholera anthu ammudzi kuzindikira, kukambirana, ndikupeza mavuto omwe akukhudza madera awo.

Ntchitoyi ikulimbikitsa kutengapo mbali ndi kupanga zisankho pamodzi, kuwonetsetsa kuti maganizo anthu m'midzi akulemekezedwa.

Luso Langa Community Foundation, under VSO's inclusive governance project, last week trained two youths clubs we are mentoring to become youth organisations in Pair-Wise Ranking at T/A Makanjira in Salima. This is a participatory approach that helps community members identify, discuss, and prioritize the challenges affecting their areas.

The exercise encourages active participation and collective decision-making, ensuring that local voices are heard and respected.

Luso Langa's Moses Kazembe and Mable Chiphaka equipped the youths with skills to facilitate similar discussions within their communities.

Luso Langa Community Foundation is pleased to to have contributed our ideas and experiences towards the development of this Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Tracking Toolkit recently launched by Southern African Trust.

The manual is expected to serve as an important guide for tracking progress, strengthening accountability, and supporting stakeholders in measuring how far the SDGs are being achieved at grassroot and national levels.

This is historical, we are proud and excited to have contributed

Luso Langa Community Foundation recently facilitated a Validation Workshop for Social Norms on Ending Child Marriages in Chipoka, T/A Ndindi, Salima District. The workshop aimed at engaging the Social Norms Task Force to validate the consolidated views from various community structures on what should be incorporated in the norms.

This follows completion of community consultation meetings during which Luso Langa gathered views and opinions from 210 community members representing different groups.

These included nine child and youth groups, traditional leaders, religious leaders, government officials, and other stakeholders.

Validation ensures community ownership and objectivity in the whole process of developing the norms.

Luso Langa Youth Club, a youth development platform under Luso Langa has officially received a Registration Certificate from the office of the District Youth Office (Salima), confirming that the club is now officially recognized at district level.

This development allows the youth club to officially carry out its activities within the Chipoka area while working closely with and reporting to the District Youth Office.

The certificate handover ceremony took place at Mchoka Resource Center, T/A Ndindi in Salima

Members of Luso Langa Youth Club have welcomed the approval, saying it will help strengthen youth development programs, community participation, and empowerment initiatives in Chipoka.
