COFO Empowers Youths through Climate Solution Journalism Training under I-stories project
COFO is making significant strides in empowering the next generation of climate leaders. Through the Live EX Project's I-stories initiative, funded by the European Union (EU), COFO is training 30 youths in climate solution journalism, storytelling, and digital communication.

This skills-building program is designed to equip youths with the tools they need to effectively share climate change solutions and promote equity on social media. By amplifying youth-led climate initiatives in their communities, COFO aims to enhance the capacity of young people to drive climate action and promote sustainable development.

The I-stories project is a key component of this initiative, supporting youth-led storytelling and amplifying the voices and solutions of young people on climate change. Through this project, COFO is providing a platform for youths to share their experiences, ideas, and perspectives on climate change, and to inspire others to take action.

Key Highlights of the Training

1. Climate Solution Journalism: Training youths to report on climate change solutions and responses.
2. Storytelling
Equipping youths with the skills to craft compelling narratives around climate change.
3. Digital Communication: Teaching youths how to effectively use social media to promote climate action and equity.

Impact and Outcomes

By empowering youths with these skills, COFO aims to:

-Amplify Youth Voices Provide a platform for youths to share their perspectives and solutions on climate change.
-Promote Climate Action Enhance the capacity of young people to drive climate action and promote sustainable development.
-Support Sustainable Development
Contribute to the achievement of sustainable development goals through youth-led initiatives.

The Live EX Project's I-stories initiative is a timely and crucial intervention in the fight against climate change. By empowering youths with the skills and knowledge they need to drive climate action, COFO is helping to build a more sustainable and equitable future for all.
