The Young Women Christian Association (YWCA), with support from the Her Voice Fund organization, has provided health assistance to youths in the Kasupe community under Traditional Authority (T/A) Machinjiri in Blantyre.
The organization offered this support by covering the transport costs to reach the area and providing allowances for the health workers involved. The services offered included malaria diagnosis HIV and AIDS testing and the distribution of contraceptive methods.
Speaking to Times 360, the Programs Manager for the YWCA, Vitumbiko Mkinga, stated that the organization decided to provide transportation assistance and allowance for health personnel, to ensure that youths, even those in rural areas, receive good health assistance.
And the Community Based Distribution Agency Blantyre District Coordinator, Millica Nsumba, commended the assistance, noting that many youths living in rural areas often fail to be reached with medical assistance because of poor transportation access.
One of the service beneficiaries, Monalisa Makwinja, praised the services and requested the organization to continue their work.

Today we challenge not only the violence we see, but also the harm hidden behind screens. Protecting women and girls in digital spaces is not just a responsibility—it is a commitment to dignity, justice, and a future where every voice is free.
