𝟭𝟭𝘁𝗵 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗿𝗮𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 – 𝗕𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘆𝗿𝗲 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗶𝘁𝘀!

The stage is set! From 7th to 9th November 2025, all eyes will turn to Blantyre as it hosts the 11th Series of the Malawi National Draughts Championship — the biggest and most anticipated event on the local draughts calendar! 🇲🇼🔥

This national event is more than just a tournament — it’s a celebration of skill, endurance, and passion. To reach this stage, athletes have battled through intense qualifiers across the country, each move and each game a step closer to the grand finals. Now, only about 50 top contenders remain — each ready to fight for glory, pride, and national recognition.

This year’s finals promise a thrilling battle of honour, as champions and rising stars face off for supremacy. The big question on everyone’s mind:

👉 Will IM Enock, the reigning Malawi Champion, defend his crown once again?

The draughts world — including international bodies and neighbouring countries — will be watching closely to see who emerges as the new national hero.

To all athletes: the time to prepare is now. Sharpen your minds, polish your tactics, and get ready for the ultimate showdown.
To all fans: come and witness greatness in action. Be part of history. Be part of the excitement.

*SUBJECT: Payment of Membership Fees for 2025/2026 Financial Year*

Dear Members,

As we approach the end of the government financial year on 31 March 2025, we are reminded that our national association is required to pay affiliation fees to the Government through the Sports Council, effective 1 April 2025.

In preparation for the new financial year, we kindly request that all members settle their membership fees as follows:

- Ordinary Member: K3,000.00
- Regional Executive Member: K4,000.00
- National Executive Member: K5,000.00

Please note that these are minimum amounts, and we appreciate any additional contributions from our well-wishers.

Payment procedures remain the same as last year:

- Regional members will pay their fees to their respective Regional Treasurers, who will then submit the collections to the National Treasurer.
- NEC members will submit their fees directly to the General Treasurer.

The deadline for payment is 30 April 2025. Unfortunately, members who fail to pay their fees by this date will be removed from all draughts-related groups.

We appreciate your prompt attention to this matter, and we look forward to another successful year of promoting the game of draughts.
