πβ¨ Exciting News from the University of Malawi Wildlife and Environmental Society! β¨π
We were honored to participate in an engaging online dialogue focused on climate change, hosted by the Society. Our organization, Youth Fighters Against Climate Change (YFACC), aims to empower and involve young people in the fight against this pressing issue.
During the discussion, we explored actionable ways for youths to contribute, examined global statistics, and addressed the impact of climate change on mental health in Malawi among others .
It was inspiring to see students from Malawi University of Science and Technology, Mzuzu University, St. John's Institute of Health, and Kamuzu University of Health Sciences joining the conversation.A special thank you to our keynote speaker, Mr. Tarcizio Kalaundi, a climate and geospatial scientist and COP28 delegate, for sharing his insights.
Together, we can make a difference! π
