An Islamic organisation, Bilal Trust, has supported a total of 3600 households in Nkhotakota district with two bags of fertilizer and 10 kilograms of seed each, for maize production.

Abdul Razack Girrach Hamdani who is the Central Region Coordinator for Bilal Trust, says the support will enable the farmers to produce maize valued at about 1 billion kwacha, this rainy season.

"We have looked at how the people in the villages are staying and the poverty they are facing. So the best way to empower these people is to give them fertilizer and seed. This will help them in terms of the hunger challenge they are facing", he said in an interview today, after presenting part of the donation at Nkhotakota Primary School.

One of the beneficiaries, Amina Bashiri , commended the organisation for supporting both the spiritual and physical life of its targeted people adding that it has also made notable progress in promoting early childhood education in the district.

The Malawi Blood Transfusion Service (MBTS) has hailed the Asian Community, under Al-Mahmood, for donating 150 units of blood to the service.

The blood was donated by volunteers at a blood donation camp in Area 2, Lilongwe.

MBTS Assistant Public Relations Officer Alex Henry Sakala said the donation will go a long way in addressing blood shortages in public health hospitals.

Al-Mahmood Executive Director Moulana Arif thanked the volunteers who worked tirelessly to make the camp a success, adding that they were thrilled to see a large turnout of donors who were enthusiastic about making a difference in someone's life by further providing refreshments and moral support to the donors throughout the day.

Our AIM Foundation is a donor-run organization which directs close to 100% of its donations to its beneficiaries. It has multiple branches in Africa and South Asian countries.

AIM Foundation’s largest operation is in Malawi and it is operating hand in hand with many governmental agencies including the Ministry of Health.

Last week the board organized a symbolic ceremony, of donating advanced care and rehabilitative treatment equipment to 3 major Health Facilities under the Ministry Of Health - Malawi - the Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital, the Kachere Rehabilitation Center (under Malawi Against Physical Disabilities), and the Blantyre Directorate of Health and Social Services.

In collaboration with Bread and Water for Africa & MAP International Our AIM Foundation has shipped multiple containers full of medications and medical equipments as part of its continuous support towards of Malawi.

The 80-foot containers worth over $500K are finally reaching the most in need across Malawi.

Our Aim Foundation (OAF), on Friday donated K500 million worth of medical supplies to Lilongwe District Health Office (DHO).

Our AIM Foundation was founded by Nisha Mandani 15 years ago. It is a donor-run organization which directs close to 100% of its donations to its beneficiaries. It has multiple branches in Africa and South Asian countries.

AIM Foundation’s largest operation is in Malawi and it is operating hand in hand with many governmental agencies including the Ministry of Health.

United States of America (USA) based charitable organization, Our Aim Foundation (OAF), on Friday donated K500 million worth of medical supplies to Lilongwe District Health Office (DHO).
