A FARMER WITH A RENEWED AND ENLIGHTENED MINDSET WOULD SOAR SO VERY HIGH.

WE NEED FULL TIME FARMERS WHO ARE ABLE TO SEE BEYOND CROPS, PLANTATIONS AND LIVESTOCK AND FISH, AND EMPLOY BUSINESS, ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND ANTHROPOLOGY AS WELL.

FARMERS WHO ARE READY TO IMPACT POSITIVELY THEIR NATIONS AND GENERATIONS, NOT ONLY MONEY AND VISION DRIVEN.

FOR FARMING IS A GOD-GIVEN MINISTRY

DRY SPELL EMERGENCY PILLS

To save crops during a dry spell, immediately apply mulch (straw, leaves, or grass) to reduce soil moisture evaporation by up to 50% and keep roots cool. Switch to deep, infrequent watering in the early morning or late evening to encourage deep root growth. Other critical techniques include:
1.Application of plant boosters: Bypassing Root Stress: When soil is dry, roots cannot absorb nutrients. Foliar feeding (spraying leaves) delivers nutrients directly to the plant, bypassing the dry soil, which allows for faster absorption (often in 3–5 days).Reducing Water Loss: Specific boosters (e.g., those containing Potassium, Silica, or ABA-mimicking agents) help regulate stomata (pores on leaves), causing them to close partially and reduce transpiration, which reduces water loss.Improving Root Growth: Seaweed extracts and other biostimulants (like amino acids and humic acids) stimulate deeper root development, allowing the plant to access subsoil moisture.Strengthening Defenses: Boosters increase the production of natural antioxidants and osmolytes (like proline), which protect plant cells from damage and dehydration.Enhancing Photosynthesis: By maintaining higher chlorophyll levels and reducing leaf yellowing, boosters help plants continue to produce energy despite the stress.
2.Efficient Irrigation: Use drip irrigation or sub-irrigation methods to deliver water directly to the roots, minimizing surface evaporation.
3.Soil Management: Increase organic matter/compost to improve water-holding capacity. Avoid excessive tilling, which dries out the soil.
4.Shade Management: Use shade nets or create temporary shade for sensitive crops to reduce heat stress.
5.Crop Protection: Remove weeds that compete for water and apply appropriate fertilisers to strengthen plants, but avoid over-fertilising.
6.Water Harvesting: Utilize stored water in pits, ponds, or containers for irrigation.
For future resilience, select drought-tolerant crops

THIS IS JUST A GLIMPSE OF THE WHOLE STORY

AGRICULTURE IS MORE THAN THIS.

AGRICULTURE IS MORE POWERFUL THAN ATOMIC/NUCLEAR BOMBS

ONLY IF WE CAN EMBRACE IT WITH A RENEWED MINDSET, THEN WILL VIVIDLY SEE AND FEEL THE POWER AND AUTHORITY OF FARMING AGRICULTURE.

A BASIC FARMER v/s BUSINESS/COMMERCIAL FARMER

Malawi needs farmers with combined characteristics/personalities: a basic farmer with business farmer mentality, a commercial farmer with basic farmer background.

These two should go hand in hand because where one is lacking, there are negative consequences no matter how successful you might be.

THE WORLD BANK AFRICA WRITES:...

Farmers and farms of all sizes are everywhere in Africa. However, a lack of funding, access to markets, and supportive regulations are among the reasons Africa cannot yet feed itself and imports large quantities of food.

In this blog, IFC - International Finance Corporation's regional Vice President for Africa Ethiopis Tafara reflects on why Africa’s food challenge is not about effort or skill, but systems—and why transforming agriculture requires coordinated policy reform, infrastructure, and private capital working together.

Exit 2025, Enter 2026...

To some, these are just numbers, changing from one digit to another. These numbers mean nothing to them.

To some, these numbers mean something to them. The change of a digit from 5 to 6, is a something very important. But the only wrong thing is that they would want to work with this new digit using the old ways without alterations or improvement or transformation

To others, the change in digit will enlighten them not only to change their environment and surroundings for better, but to change and transform themselves starting within.

To Jehovah Yahweh Elshadai Adonai, this change means something, because what was created on Monday is not what was created on Tuesday. And likewise, to GOD, sometimes the change of digit may not mean a change of seasons and times.

SO ENQUIRE FIRST FROM THE ANCIENT OF DAYS BEFORE COMMITING TO SOMETHING OR SOMEONE, EVEN TO THIS YEAR.

BUT MAKE IT A DECISION AND A CHOICE, TO BE PRODUCTIVE WITH YOUR LIFE, IN A POSITIVE WAY. AND WHILE DOING THAT, IMPACT LIVES POSITIVELY.

BUT DO NOT FORGET ETERNITY TOO. YOU HAVE ENTERED 2026, BUT IT IS NOT GUARANTEED THAT YOU WILL EXIT IT.
