Earlier this week, we conducted a needs assessment at Chinthembwe Community Day Secondary School in Ntchisi, the only secondary school serving the Chinthembwe Zone under T/A Vusojere.

It was both inspiring and eye-opening to learn that many students travel over 10 kilometres each day to access an education. With 12 primary schools feeding into this one secondary school, the demand for learning opportunities continues to place significant pressure on available resources and infrastructure.

While challenges remain, it was encouraging to see ongoing construction works on site, a sign that efforts are being made to improve the learning environment for current and future students.

Every child deserves access to quality education, and visits like these help us better understand community needs and identify opportunities for meaningful support.

We remain committed to empowering communities through sustainability initiatives, environmental conservation, education, and community development projects that contribute towards a better future for Africa.

A quick stop in Dedza and we were happy to find the CCGI women hard at work

From training to production, the progress they have made in such a short time has been incredible to witness. We found the ladies busy cutting fabric and preparing more tote bags, continuing the amazing work they have been consistently putting in.

Since receiving the sewing machines and training, they have already produced multiple batches of tote bags, a true reflection of their dedication, teamwork and willingness to learn.

We are incredibly proud of the women and the impact this initiative continues to create

Seeing our CHANCO student, Egrey, confidently attend her finale dinner and truly enjoy the experience was incredibly heartwarming. We are happy to have supported her towards this special milestone, and even happier to hear that she had an amazing time
