As we are "Feeding the Future", we are also thinking of firewood for the future, so we are planting trees. Help and join us plant as many trees this year.

Seibo Maria has launched a tree-planting initiative in schools where it runs feeding programmes to replace trees being cut down for cooking porridge.

Speaking during the launch at Kazengo Primary School in Mzimba, Seibo Maria Programmes Manager Victor Mthulo said the organisation decided to plant trees in the schools to promote environmental sustainability.

Kazengo Primary School headteacher, Fiskani Luhanga, thanked Seibo Maria for the donation of 200 tree seedlings, saying the school will take responsibility for growing and protecting the trees for future use.
