There are moments that remind us why investing in young people matters.
A few years ago, Chifundo served as our Afterschool Programs Coordinator at Young and Empowered Malawi. He faithfully poured into the lives of children and youth in our community, often going beyond his job description to make sure our students were supported and encouraged.
Today, we are proud to see him continuing his education at Cairn University in the United States, where he is pursuing his Master’s degree. But what inspires us even more is his vision for what comes next.
When Chifundo returns home to Malawi, he plans to launch a farming project to provide food for the children in our after-school program while creating a sustainable source of support for our organization’s work.
This is bigger than agriculture. It is about dignity, sustainability, and most importantly, young leaders returning home with solutions for their communities. We are inviting friends, partners, and supporters to help us begin laying the foundation for this vision. Your support will help us invest in land preparation, farming inputs, irrigation, and the long-term sustainability of a project that could impact hundreds of children and families.
