At the October 2024 ABEM inaugural stakeholders consultative meeting, stakeholders emphasized that the association should be a major actor in promoting biomedical engineering and harmonization of regulation in healthcare technology.

As a growing profession we hope to see such initiative support the protection and regulation of biomedical engineering activities and aid to its proper integration in the national healthcare system.
