At the October 2024 ABEM inaugural stakeholders consultative meeting, stakeholders emphasized that the association should be a major actor in promoting biomedical engineering and harmonization of regulation in healthcare technology.

This call to action during the meeting highlights the growing recognition of biomedical engineers as pivotal contributors to healthcare systems, ensuring medical technologies meet the highest standards of safety and performance.
