for Health and Human Rights stands united with the global community on World Su***de Prevention Day.

Through our work in Gender-Based Violence response and Child Protection Case Management, we see firsthand how deep emotional trauma can run. Mental health is a fundamental human right. Today, Active Youth Association (AYA)
successfully hosted representatives from our implementing partner, Youth Activists Initiative (YAIO), and officer from Blantyre District Youth Office.

The monitoring visit focused on our ongoing Sexual Reproductive Health and HIV/AIDS Project. AYA facilitated productive and insightful sessions dedicated to HIV prevention—specifically focusing on proper condom utilization—and shared critical, factual data regarding PrEP services.

In their closing remarks, the visiting delegation commended AYA's initiatives, encouraging sustained youth participation in community programs. They also reinforced the strategic importance of consistent and timely monthly reporting to track project impact effectively.

Active Youth Association (AYA) for Health and Human Rights, in partnership with UNICEF and the Blantyre City Council through the District Youth Office, is empowering young people through the Adolescent Boys and Girls for Mental Health Community initiative. As a core component of this intervention, adolescent participants are currently undergoing certified vocational training skills at TEVETA to build economic resilience and support positive mental well-being.
