We are pleased to open for Executive Committee / Board Member positions of Women on Boards NGO

The details of requirements are as follows:
Educational Qualification: Master degree or relevant educational qualifications and management / senior management experience in the private sector or government institution or has been an Executive Committee member of WOB in the past one year.
We will greatly consider the experience of applicants relevant to the roles applied for.
The Executive Commitee of WOB may bring changes to the educational and work experience requirement at their discretion, where we do not receive applicants with the above qualification and experience. Detailed requirements:
- Good command of English and Dhivehi and Excellent communication skills and presentations skills.
- Ability to prepare reports and fundraising proposals. International organisations exposure is desirable.
The role of the members includes the duties stated in the Higaa Gawaidh and the following:
- Being familiar with the WOB governing document ( Hingaa Gavaaidhu) , the legal responsibilities of WOB under the Act and the internal governance rules;
- Ensuring that decisions and actions of the Executive board are accurately recorded and implemented.
- Work to implement the objectives of WOB in accordance with the WOB business plan/ strategic plan etc.
- Play a role in setting up and running any Annual General Meeting (AGM) or Extraordinary General Meetings (EGMs) where required.
- Represent WOB nationally and internationally
