Understanding always arrives after the experience it was meant for. You have to stop judging past versions of yourself by the awareness that you have now. You made decisions with limited information, limited awareness, and a life you were still learning how to navigate. Nothing was wasted; nothing was random. Even the detours were data; even the mistakes were shaping you. You weren't stuck you were becoming. Understanding always arrives after the experience it was meant for, and now that it has, you arrive differently. Late, yes but not lost. From here, you don't look back in shame; you look back with grace. And grace is never late. It arrives exactly when you're ready to receive it.
