We are deeply grateful to Universal Foundation 🤝🏽✨

Today, we are proud to announce the formalisation of our partnership with Universal Foundation, a milestone that fills our hearts with hope and renewed purpose.

Through this collaboration, Universal Foundation joins us as a Gold Sponsor of the HiyaVahi Programme, our housing initiative dedicated to building, renovating, and refurbishing homes for vulnerable women and families across the Maldives.

This partnership is more than support for a program, it is a commitment to dignity, safety, and brighter futures for the communities we serve.

Thank you, Universal Foundation, for believing in our mission.

From craft to career. 💪🧵

A Hand Embroidery Course officially kicked off last night in S. Hithadhoo as part of our Every Woman Campaign!

Guided by Afiya Yoosuf, owner of Aifa's Dream , who has dedicated herself to helping women across the country become financially independent through their craft.

During the course, participants will master 3 types of hand embroidery and receive one-on-one guidance on building an income from their craft.

We would also like to thank Addu City Council and Sharafuddin School for their support in making arrangements for the training.

Some women don’t get to choose ease.
They wake up every day and build life anyway — in small spaces, with limited means, carrying more than anyone sees.

This isn’t just about survival. It’s about strength that goes unnoticed, stories that go unheard, and resilience that deserves more than silence.

Every woman deserves safety, dignity, and a chance to live beyond just getting through the day.

Let’s not look away.

Sexual violence isn’t always one visible story. It takes many forms, and all of them matter.

It can be physical, verbal, or non-contact.
It can happen through pressure, manipulation, coercion, or without consent being clearly given or respected.
It can exist in relationships, workplaces, public spaces, and even online.

What connects all of it is simple: any sexual act or behavior without full, free, and informed consent is harm.

Naming it matters. Understanding it matters. Listening to survivors matters.

If this brings something up for you, support is available. You are not alone. 💜

Two homes. Ten lives changed.

Our first renovation project of 2026 is underway, and behind every wall we repair is a family that deserves better.

Both households are headed by single mothers raising orphaned children. Through HiyaVahi 2026, we’re restoring not just structures, but stability, so these families can settle into a home that feels safe, dignified, and truly theirs.

This work is only possible through the generosity of people who believe every family deserves a safe place to call home. If you’d like to be part of HiyaVahi 2026, whether through materials, or simply sharing this post, reach out to us via DM or the link in our bio.

Every contribution brings a family closer to home. 🤍

Young women and minors are among the most vulnerable to sexual violence.

When half of all sexual assaults happen to girls under 16, it is a reality we cannot ignore.

At Moms Aid, we continue to advocate for awareness, early prevention, and safe spaces for every child. Because protection should never be optional.

We believe you. 🤍

This Sexual Assault Awareness Month, we stand for every survivor who has been unheard, unseen, or failed by the very systems meant to protect them.

Too many are still:
— Failed by laws that don’t reflect reality
— Failed by systems shaped by stigma
— Failed by barriers that keep justice out of reach

It’s time for change.

We need:
✔️ Systems that protect, not blame
✔️ Justice that works in practice, not just on paper
✔️ Spaces that recognize and respect every survivor’s reality

We can build a world where survivors are heard, believed, and safe. 💜
