Tourism Employees Association of Maldives (TEAM) = T.E.A.M OFFICIAL FACEBOOK PAGE = " Trade union of Tourism workers of Maldives” A trade union is an organized group of workers.

Its main goal is to protect and advance the interests of its members.

Ø If you join our trade union we can help with any difficulties related to work, such as your pay, service charge, leave, food, accommodation, discrimination, working conditions and unfair dismissal.

Ø If the problem cannot be resolved by agreement we can back you in illegal action to secure your rights. We can assist you to

take your employer to court. We also able to get solidarity supports from our affiliated international Organization if required so.

Ø In a way belonging to a Union is form of insurance. We are there for our members when they need us.

Ø Our Union also has a wealth of information which is useful to you. We can create awareness to our members on labor acts, convention of ILO and the other required laws and regulation to the members.
