We are currently initiating a fund raising of Rs146,000 for GRAND BOIS JUMMAH MASJID, Old Savanne Road, Grand Bois towards the installation of two A/C of 36000BTU each.
Participate in providing comfort to the Mussali whilst they’re doing Namaz (especially for Ramadhan).

Installation completed (20.03.2025).

Alhamdullilah we have already bought and handed over the aircon to Old Surinam Mosque.

All donations for Old Surinam Mosque has ended. No additional donation is required for this project.

Jazak'Allah khayran for all those who have donated and Insha Allah you'll benefit in the hereafter. This will provide utmost comfort to the muswalli.

Fund Raising - Lillah

Lillah Appeal for Old Surinam Mosque for buying and installation of 2 x 36000 btu aircon. With Ramadhan starting and the heat prevailing in that region, Project Salaam was approached to raise the required funding for this project; just like Alhamdullilah was successfully done for Britannia Masjid last year. We did not need to ask for fund raising publicly for this project. A generous benefactor sponsored 100% for the purchase of a water tank of 780lt + a water pump of 0.75hp for Britannia Mosque after he got to know about this upcoming project of ours.

Food Vouchers from Dreamprice distributed to needy households on a monthly basis from the tune of Rs2500 to Rs5000 per month. We henceforth will stop buying the food ourself; as we believe the beneficiaries should be free to decide what they'd like buy for their own consumption. For the forthcoming Ramadhan, we will issue vouchers for Ramadhan pack and Eid Pack.
