[Bétail à Rs 186/kg pour le Qurbani] Le gouvernement agit pour protéger les familles

Face aux inquiétudes liées à une possible flambée des prix du bétail importé, la décision du Conseil des ministres de plafonner le prix à Rs 186/kg est accueillie comme une mesure forte en faveur des consommateurs mauriciens, particulièrement de la communauté musulmane à l’approche de l’Eid-ul-Adha 2026.

Ghars Well (Bir Ghars) in Medina are true and well-documented in Islamic historical sources and the Sunnah.
Historical SignificanceLocated in the Al-Awali district, south of the Prophet’s Mosque, the Ghars Well is one of the "Prophetic Wells" deeply connected to the life of Prophet Muhammad.

Preferred Water Source: The Prophet frequently drank from and performed ablution (wudu) with water from this well, reportedly praising its sweetness and freshness.A "Spring of Paradise": In a narrated hadith, the Prophet referred to it as one of the springs of Paradise.

Final Ritual Requests: He specifically instructed his companion and cousin, Ali ibn Abi Talib, to wash his body with seven water-skins from this well after his death.

Current State and RestorationThe site has recently undergone significant preservation and rehabilitation work by Saudi heritage authorities.

Restoration: The complex was renovated around 2023 to preserve its historical basalt stone architecture while improving access for visitors.

Visitor Facilities: Modern additions include a protective metal grill over the well for safety, informative signage, and even a small mosque and drinking water taps for pilgrims.
