The Century Welfare Association is a socio-cultural association which aims to promote the welfare of the inhabitants of its region. It was established as a small club following the ethnic conflict in 1968, which spread chaos in the capital of Mauritius, to promote a better and more harmonious society. Since then the association has greatly evolved and it has now 1300m2 double storey building and o

ver 200 members, including members of a lady’s wing. the different wings of the association provide a number of services namely Special Educational Needs School (SENS) for children with disabilities, Ecole d’Accopagnement (vocational school) for students who failed CPE exams and are not working, Computer Center, Women Center to empower women of the region, Fitness Center, Kitchen Training and Community Outreach Program.
