Created in 2012 by a group of people concerned about animal rights, the sentience of animals, the well-being of both animals and humans, and the health of the planet, the Vegan Society For New Generation seeks to actively raise awareness and promote the above mentioned causes in Mauritius. Passionate about veganism and loving to help others on their journey, we are here to support each other. We w
ish to see more and more people realise how similar animals are to humans when it comes to feeling emotions. Treating animals how we, humans, wish to be treated is what we deem a basic foundation our present society needs to be working on for true peace on Earth. We cannot accept for animals to continue to suffer in silence. Veganism is a cruelty-free lifestyle, with its advocates and adherents refusing to exploit animals in whatever forms such exploitation can take the shape of (sadly, there are countless!). Vegans do not eat animals, and neither wear them, nor do they support sports making use of and abusing animals.
