Assalamu Alaikum!

According to the Mauritian calendar, the last ten days of Ramadan have begun. In the Islamic (Hijri) system, a new day starts after Maghrib (sunset). Therefore, after the day of the 20th Ramadan ends at Maghrib, the night of the 21st Ramadan begins.

The first odd night (21st night) for seeking Laylat al-Qadr will begin on Tuesday evening, 10 March 2026 (after Maghrib).

The possible odd nights are:

- 21st night: Tuesday evening, 10 March
- 23rd night: Thursday evening, 12 March
- 25th night: Saturday evening, 14 March
- 27th night: Monday evening, 16 March
- 29th night: Wednesday evening, 18 March

A humble request to everyone during these blessed nights:
Along with your daily dhikr and supplications, try to recite the 99 beautiful names of Allah (Asma’ul Husna).

Also, present the reward (sawab) of these acts of remembrance as a gift (hadiya) to our beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, his blessed family (Ahl al-Bayt), the honorable Companions (Sahabah), the entire Ummah of the Prophet, and all the believing Muslims who have passed away.
