Unite for Good: A Conference of Fellowship, Inspiration and Lasting Impact

The 30th District 9220 Conference has come to an end — and what an extraordinary Conference it has been.

Over these memorable days, Rotarians from across the district came together in a true spirit of fellowship, learning, and inspiration under the powerful theme “Unite for Good.” From enriching training sessions and impactful learning experiences to meaningful exchanges between leaders and members of the Rotary family, the Conference reminded us all of the strength and purpose of Rotary service.

Throughout the Conference, District Governor Bernard Leong-Son constantly reminded us that our greatest strength lies in our unity and that, together as Rotarians, we can bring meaningful change to the lives of people and communities across our district and beyond.

One of the highlights for our Club was the Hospitality Night, during which the Rotary Club of Port-Louis Citadelle had the distinct honour of hosting our dear friends from the Rotary Club of Nosy Be of Madagascar. It was an evening filled with joy, friendship, laughter, and unforgettable moments — a beautiful reflection of Rotary fellowship at its finest. Together, we truly united for good to create lasting impact.

A special tribute also goes to our very own Past District Governor, Manoj Vaghjee, whose brilliance as Master of Ceremony throughout the Conference inspired and uplifted the entire Rotarian community. His leadership, eloquence, and dedication continue to be a source of pride and inspiration for us all.

We also extend our heartfelt congratulations to our esteemed friend Dominique Passinay on his well-deserved election as District Governor Nominee Designate (DGND). His unwavering commitment, exemplary leadership, and dedication to Rotary values make this recognition truly deserved, and we wish him every success in this important journey of service.

Finally, we commend our President, Nabiil Kaufid, for his dynamic leadership and active presence throughout the Conference. His commitment to strengthening fellowship, building meaningful connections, and representing our Club with distinction reflects the vision and energy that continue to guide our Club forward.

As the Conference concludes, we return inspired, energised, and more committed than ever to continue serving our communities with purpose, compassion, and unity.
