Fondation Georges Charles The Fondation Georges Charles, is a duly Registered Specialized School and Day Care Centre operating in Pointe aux Sables since 1982.

At present, 92 Mentally Impaired Children and Young Adults, aged 4 to 32 years are attending the Specialised School and the Day Care Centre. The Foundation runs the following:
- A Pre Primary Unit for Severe Mentally Impaired Children aged 4 to 6.
- A fully Registered Specialised School (5 to 16 years) with two classes up to C.P.E. And a Remedial Education Class(CPE Drop outs preparing for the MIT

D Second Chance Program)
- A Specialised unit for "Les Autistes"
- An Art & Crafts Academy
- A Small Farm ( poultry & rabbit rearing)
- A Vegetable Garden
- A Rattan Craft Workshop
- A Woodcraft Workshop
- A Needle Craft Workshop(Mainly for Girls)
- A Book Binding Workshop ******(Number of Beneficiaries 22)
- A Glass Painting & Engraving Workshop
- A Metal Craft Workshop
- And the Centre is also engaged in Electronic Waste Recycling. Registered with the Ministry of Education as a Specialised School and is a FULL Member of the National Council for the Rehabilitation of the Disabled operating under the Ministry of Social Security.
