The opening ceremony brought together young leaders from all corners of District 9220, each carrying their own stories, cultures and aspirations. From inspiring addresses by our distinguished guests to beautiful cultural performances, the evening was a reminder that despite our different backgrounds, we are united by the same passion to serve, lead, and make a difference.

But as we Mauritians know, the best moments often happen ๐จ๐ฎ๐ญ๐ฌ๐ข๐๐ž ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐ฉ๐ซ๐จ๐ ๐ซ๐š๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ž ๐ข๐ญ๐ฌ๐ž๐ฅ๐Ÿ. ๐Ÿคญโœจ

Between conversations over photos, spontaneous laughter, and introductions that quickly turned into friendships, presidents and members connected, exchanged ideas, and shared experiences that will undoubtedly last beyond these few days. What started as strangers meeting for the first time already feels like one big Rotary family.

Because in District 9220, leadership is not only about learning in workshops; it's also about the people we meet, the cultures we embrace, and the memories we create together. ๐Ÿ“ธ๐Ÿค

During the meeting, members actively exchanged ideas and worked together on preparations for our upcoming projects and activities, with the shared goal of continuing to make a positive impact in our community. โœจ

We also had the opportunity to discuss and share updates regarding our upcoming 21st Club Anniversary ๐ŸŽ‰ โ€” a special milestone that reflects years of friendship, service, growth, and unforgettable memories within the Rotaract Club of Flacq.

As we gather for our 10th President's Meeting, we celebrate more than just a number. We celebrate the ideas that turned into action, the challenges that helped us grow and the friendships that made every step of the journey worthwhile. ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿค

Each meeting has been a chance to learn, lead and work together towards creating a positive impact in our community. From planning projects to sharing experiences, every discussion has played a part in shaping the story of our club. ๐Ÿ“–๐ŸŒฑ

This Motherโ€™s Day, we shared a beautiful day with five remarkable mothers and polio survivors at Maison Dโ€™Entraide, Sodnac. โค๏ธ

From the very first conversation, there was a softness in the room that made everything feel familiar.
We sat together speaking about life and little everyday moments that somehow carried the most meaning. Between dominoes and cards came endless teasing, playful arguments and laughter that spread across the room so effortlessly. Nothing about the day felt formal. It felt like sitting with family. โœจ

Tea time quickly became everyoneโ€™s favourite part of the day. The moment bingo began, the entire atmosphere changed. The determination to win, the cheering after every number called and the playful competitiveness between everyone brought so much life into the room โ˜•๐ŸŽ‰

Some held onto their bingo sheets with complete concentration while others could barely stop laughing between rounds. In those moments, the only thing that mattered was the genuine happiness shared around that table. Flowers were handed out with love, gifts and fruits were shared, snacks passed around and warm cups of tea prepared together along with cake. ๐ŸŒธ

Somewhere between these little moments, this project became became a reminder that strength does not always arrive loudly. Sometimes it exists quietly in women who continue to smile through every challenge and who carry years of resilience with so much grace.๐Ÿ’–

Surrounded by friends, Rotaractors, Rotarians, distinguished guests, and alumni, we reflected on the remarkable journey that has shaped our club into what it is today. The Rotaract Club of Flacq had the pleasure of hosting its annual Eid Fellowship, and this time, we gathered at the lovely residence of our dear friend Vishan. ๐Ÿกโœจ

From sharing delicious food to enjoying endless laughs and unforgettable moments, the evening was filled with warmth, joy, and togetherness. ๐Ÿคโœจ It was the perfect escape from our daily routines and a beautiful reminder of the importance of friendship and fellowship. ๐ŸŒ™๐Ÿ’ซ
