A Toastmasters Club in Mauritius founded on 11 October 2012.We are part of a non-profit organisation. Meetings are conducted on alternate Sundays at 9:00 a.m.

Aurora Toastmasters shares the vision of Toastmasters International ; empowering its members with a supportive and non-profit making educational programme to develop their soft skills. At Aurora Toastmasters, members learn the skills of speaking, listening and critical thinking, using a mutual, peer Self Development programme. These are vital skills that promote self actualisation, enhance leaders

hip potential and foster human understanding. Certificates are thereafter awarded by Toastmasters International. We are always eager to welcome guests . Come and discover what Toastmasters is all about. Just contact us and we will make this encounter possible.

At Aurora Toastmasters Club, we believe that growth begins when we challenge perspectives, question assumptions and dare to speak about the issues shaping our world today.

For our 341st meeting, Toastmaster of the Day Denagaren Ramasawmy invites you to explore the theme “The Prisoner’s Dilemma of War” — a thought-provoking session inspired by strategy, diplomacy, economics and human behaviour. Through speeches, discussions and Table Topics, we will reflect on how conflict, cooperation and decision-making influence both nations and individuals.

Our Meeting 340 themed ‘Inspiration’ took on a special energy as it was hosted by our very own President TM Yash, who brought his unique spark to the stage. ✨

From powerful speeches to moments that truly moved us, the evening reminded us that inspiration isn’t something we wait for — it’s something we create together.

We are still wondering if it was a regular prank from our Vice President, Nawsheen, who was also the TMoD. 🤭

It is with much joy that we announce that our Vice President, Homesh Callychurn, has won the 2026 JCI Mauritius National
Public Speaking Championship 🏆

Our Treasurer, Rachna Lallbeeharry, won the 2nd Runner Up prize in the same competition 🏆

We are proud that both members are achieving excellency in public speaking and communication at a national level. This excellence is a result of months of hardwork and dedication.

We congratulate both of them on their well deserved victory.
