ls of all kinds are rife in our society where drugs, alcoholism and juvenile prostitution are rampant. Commendably, a number of organisations are hard at work to tackle these issues individually, with varying degrees of success. We at Manav Dharam Youth N Spirit view this situation from a different angle. To water a plant, you do not need to water each leaf, twig and branch of the plant. In the same way, taking a silo approach to tackle each problem faced by youths today will only mean curing a particular symptom, rather that curing the root cause. Life situations and peer influence play a major role in leading our youths to the pitfalls of society. But if we are spiritually-aware, connected to our inner strength and able to control our mind, no amount of outside influence can bring our downfall. Spiritual awareness is like watering the roots of the plant! It has been rightly said:
-If there is light in the soul, there will be beauty in the person
-If there is beauty in the person, there will be harmony in the house
-If there is harmony in the house, there will be peace in the nation

With the grace of our spiritual master, His Holiness Shri Satpal Ji Maharaj and that of his son, Shri Vibhu Ji Maharaj, we are engaged in promoting spirituality within the younger segment of the population. Very often, young people shun spirituality and religion for science.We aim to bridge the gap between science and spirituality, by providing a scientific explanation of the teachings of religious scriptures and the inherent spiritual messages. We organize seminars specifically for youths of all religions to explain in a more contemporary way the essence of spirituality. Those who show a genuine interest are further accompanied on the road to meditation and enlightenment, where they learn techniques of meditation to control their mind. We are the Mauritian youth wing of the Manav Utthan Sewa Samiti (MUSS), a Socio-Spiritual & Charitable Organization founded by Shri Satpal Ji Maharaj in India and which has a global presence today. It serves in various countries across the world with the objective of awakening the dormant consciousness within human beings by disseminating the knowledge of ‘Manav Dharam’.
‘Manav Dharam’ is in essence the realization of one’s own consciousness, which is also known as ‘self realization’. Consciousness cannot be awakened through rituals or mantras. It is revealed and awakened by the grace of a living Spiritual Master. So the primary function of MUSS is to organize spiritual gatherings to acquaint the public with the teachings of Manav Dharam. It also has a band of selfless ‘mahatmas’ who initiate genuine aspirants into the practical techniques of meditation on the living Knowledge. “Enlighten the man, enlighten the world” is its motto. In Mauritius, MUSS has been present since 1996, with its ashrams located at Lallmatie and Belle Rive. Regular discourses are held both at its ashrams and across the island on a daily basis to explain practically the teachings of religious scriptures. Meditation classes are also held for devotees. The youth movement started in 2013 with a number of youth seminars being organised island-wide to bridge the gap between science and spirituality for our youths. OUR MAIN BOOKS:
