We have Remembrance Day. We have Women's Day.
Why do we have Pride?π
Because history matters. Because rights must be remembered. Because freedom is never guaranteed.
Rights written in sand are easily taken away.
First they came for the migrants and then trans people.
Then they came for the le****ns, g**s and bis.
Then they came for the women. And I did not speak out
Then they came for me. And there was no one left to speak out for me
As long as people are attacked for who they are, Pride is still necessary.
LGBTIQ+ rights are human rights. We stand for diversity, inclusion, health care, equal rights, sexual health, mental health, environmental protection and so much more.
Join us on Saturday September 5th to stand up and speak out. Learn more about at https://www.lgbtigozo.com/gozo-pride
And don't forget to get your tickets for our Pride AfterParty at Flamingo!
