Because history matters. Because rights must be remembered. Because freedom is never guaranteed.

Rights written in sand are easily taken away.
First they came for the migrants and then trans people.
Then they came for the le****ns, g**s and bis.
Then they came for the women. And I did not speak out
Then they came for me. And there was no one left to speak out for me

As long as people are attacked for who they are, Pride is still necessary.

LGBTIQ+ rights are human rights. We stand for diversity, inclusion, health care, equal rights, sexual health, mental health, environmental protection and so much more.

🎬 6:30 PM | INVENTING THE ENEMY: Gender, Fear, and Disinformation

We kick off the evening with an exclusive preview of three raw excerpts from our forthcoming documentary Inventing the Enemy: Gender, Fear, and Disinformation, ahead of its official launch in October 2026.

For this special Gozo Pride screening, we have selected excerpts exploring trans and non-binary realities in Malta and Gozo, as well as some of the tensions and divisions that can emerge between LGB people and the wider q***r community. 🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈

These excerpts represent just one part of a much broader documentary. Primarily aimed at a straight audience, the full film brings together voices across different sexual orientations and gender identities to examine how fear, misinformation and social narratives around gender can shape attitudes, prejudice and discrimination.

For Friday's event, however, we're turning the lens inward and asking: Where are the divisions within our own community? How do we talk about them? And how do we move forward together? 💬

The screening will be followed by an informal open discussion, and we warmly invite members of the LGBTIQ+ community and allies to come along, listen, contribute and exchange perspectives. 🫶
