Maltese Turkish Business Council

Maltese Turkish Business Council MTBC is a horizontal committee within the Malta Chamber of Commerce aimed at promoting and facilitating business between Malta and Turkey.

The Maltese – Turkish Business Council (MTBC) intends to achieve its objective by undertaking activities and maintaining the following objectives which can be grouped as follows:

1. Creating a strong, viable, flexible, active and inclusive entity that enjoys a tangible and permanent presence in Malta and attracts participation by members in a diversity of industries.

2. Promoting business rela

tions between the two countries by organising events in Malta, such as seminars about doing business with Turkey and other events which serve to promote networking between Maltese companies interested in doing business with Turkey and their Turkish counterparts, be they businesses already established in Malta, or visiting companies and/or individuals.

3. Obtaining Funding for the MTBC and its stakeholders fur the furtherance of these objectives.

4. Being the contact point for visiting Turkish companies and organisations as well as stakeholders, such as members of the diplomatic corps, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Finance Malta among others and organising meetings whenever this serves to promote the objective outlined in our mission statement.

5. Raising awareness in both Turkey and Malta about business opportunities in Malta and Turkey respectively.
