Waqt l-ewwel udjenza ġenerali fi Pjazza San Pietru wara l-operazzjoni fl-Isptar Gemelli. Il-Papa rringrazzja lil Alla għall-ġenerożità tiegħu u lil kull min talab għalih. Fil-katekesi tiegħu, li għal darb’oħra kienet iffukata fuq il-Kostituzzjoni "Gaudium et spes", il-Papa enfasizza li l-politika hija msejħa ssostni ż-żwieġ u l-familja, u jtenni li “l-ħajja, ladarba tiġi kkonċepita, għandha tiġi protetta bl-akbar għożża”, billi jiġu evitati “kemm l-abort kif ukoll l-infantiċidju”.

Il-Papa tkellem dwar iż-Żwieġ bħala għaqda ta' fedeltà sħiħa u indissolubbli. Huwa qal i li "l-għoti reċiproku tar-raġel u tal-mara, b’tali mod li “m’humiex aktar tnejn, imma ġisem wieħed”, jimmotiva l-ħtieġa tal-“fedeltà sħiħa” u tal-“għaqda indissolubbli” tal-miżżewġin, u jsib espressjoni ħajja fil-prokreazzjoni u fl-edukazzjoni tal-ulied." Huwa saħaq ukoll li din l-imħabba fiż-żwieġ ssib espressjoni fl-atti li huma proprji u esklussivament taż-żwieġ.

The Hate review is true to its title , a dehumanising caricature of pro life NGOs. The language used is tantamout to hate speech. We beg to differ - the document is anti equality , and silences a people group, the preborn, for extinction.
